Game Manufacturers: Stop discriminating against people with learning disabilities

Reading disabilities are not uncommon. There are many talented and intelligent adults and children who enjoy playing video games, who happen to also have difficulty reading. One of these children is my 8 year old son.
Many video games rely heavily on written dialogue and instructions. For people with reading based LD's, this makes it challenging for them to fully engage in the games, as they are either missing large pieces of the plot, or have to rely on others to read the dialogue for them.
A simple solution? Offer the option to have written dialogue and instructions read aloud. And yet, this option is often not available to those who need them. It's a simple modification, but will make a world of difference to your customers who could benefit from them.
