Emma T started this petition to Victorian Government and

Please support this cause and say NO to the compulsory use of face mask for our children/teens at school. Medical professionals and scientists all over the world are speaking up about the potential damages that mask wearing for long periods of time could have on young and developing brains due to lack of oxygen.

Can it be proven that this directive is safe and does not pose a health risk to our children? Do we know anything about the long term psychological impacts of this directive? Children should not be subjected to uninformed and experimental health measures, especially when those recommending them can not provide the data and evidence to back them up.

The Department of Education has stated that schools were never considered a health risk for increased transmission of Covid-19. They were closed to limit community movement. Why then, is it necessary for children to have to wear face masks at all times?

We must demand to see the scientific data and evidence to prove that this is in the best interest of our children's health and that the potential risk associated with this directive outweigh the possibility of potential infection.

Sign this petition to show that you see a need for further consideration of this health directive in regards to children/teens ages 12-18.
