In light of the recent pandemic, the university has been based online, having a drastic affect on students learning. Therefore, we ask those in charge to approve of a no detriment policy, similar to what many other universities have.

The Prime Minister recently announced that exams will also be cancelled, including GCSE’s and A levels. Therefore, it is only fair that the University also assist us in allowing a no-detriment policy.

Implementing a 'no detriment policy' this academic year by following suit of other UK universities has proved that it will relieve pressure off student's during these unprecedented stressful times. It will too, acknowledge that students can not be expected to meet their full academic potential when they are not being taught in the circumstances they have been in their entire academic life.

We are proud to be students at a university that prioritises mental health and all’s well being, therefore we believe UoWestminster should also take all necessary steps to support their students' by minimising academic pressure due to the impact COVID-19 has had on all’s mental health during these circumstances.
