I have recently been admitted to Delhi University after one and a half years of tiring online classes of standard 12.
It was all good for a month or two but gradually my eyes and health started reacting to it. My eyes turned red with a burning sensation. 
A teacher and student relationship is said to be the roots of quality education. But due to online classes, education is just a formality. The students are least interested to attend these frustrating classes. The student life of this batch is getting ruined like anything. The youth is getting demotivated.
Moreover, Campus development funds, library fees, Medical fees, Garden fees, farewell fees, cultural activity fees, canteen region fees are being charged from students that too when the university is shut. 
Students demand to open colleges, as simply sitting at home, being grounded, starring the screens, and putting so much money to waste is depressing and traumatizing for parents as well students.
If schools for class 9-12 students, malls, gyms, local markets, political rallies, spiritual programs (ramleela) can be conducted then the colleges should also open. 
There are less than 50 cases a day in Delhi, then what is the point of shutting colleges and giving unnecessary pressure to students.
Is this only for sitting and having good salaries from government jobs???
What is the point of taking admission to one of the best universities when we cannot study on campus physically? 
We are students damn we need practical learning which everyone knows is only possible in offline classes.
A student Aishwarya Reddy from LSR committed suicide because she could not afford all the expenses of this online stuff. I see a lot of students near my locality who either don't attend classes or get depressed because of the financial and mental crisis they are going through. 
What else are we waiting for????
