DU should shift from online to offline mode from March 21, 2022 - after Holi festival
Why this petition matters

Professor Yogesh Singh,
Vice Chancellor, Delhi University
Respected sir,
I am completely aware of the benefits of offline teaching and would like to shift to the same but do not want this decision to be taken in a hurry without paying attention to the serious issues stated in the next para. I am shocked at DU shifting to offline mode without giving enough time. The sudden move to open the university in offline mode will adversely affect my studies and will harm my future prospects and career irreversibly.
I do not reside in Delhi and require some reasonable time to come to Delhi, rent a place and get settled so that I can start attending classes in offline mode in my college where I am admitted. Since such a move has financial implications, a period of at least a month must be given to make all desirable arrangements. While preparing for offline, I would like the teaching to continue in online mode. Since the University will have to be closed for Holi in the next month, it will only be logical to ask for offline classes from March 21, 2022. And till then, teaching in online mode must continue.
Thank you.
