Last year, there was an incident where the President of the school, a retired 2 Star Army General who is also an Alumnus was forced to resign due to “philosophical differences” with the President of the Board of Trustees. Since then, the BOT have continued making poor and ill-advised decisions regarding the operation of VFMAC and are no longer making themselves accountable, nor available to the Alumni, who have been expressing great concern over the welfare and continued success of our beloved institution.

We demand that the current Board of Trustees of Valley Forge Military Academy resign or be removed from their positions before they force the closing of our alma mater and that a new BOT, with sincere interests in its success be installed immediately.

The Cadet Resolution

My goal in life is to achieve honorable success in my profession and to become a citizen of the highest integrity in my community.

To this end, I RESOLVE THAT:

Honesty and integrity in thought, word and deed shall characterize my relationship with others.

Excellence shall be the hallmark of my endeavors.

Respect and consideration for all persons and their property shall be my resolve.

Strength of character shall be my objective as I strive to achieve greater self-discipline and the highest physical, mental, spiritual and moral development at Valley Forge.

Responsibility shall be my watchword, both in my obligations to others and in my commitment to my own objectives and ideals.

Remembering that noble thoughts inspire noble deeds, I shall aspire to a life of honorable service.
