Beth Hathman started this petition to Veterans Administration and

The Agent Orange Act of 1991 states that neuropathy is caused from the herbicides and my dad has severe neuropathy and they say that it most likely came from the herbicides in Vietnam but the Agent Orange Act of 1991 allows the Veterans Administration to deny any disability claims even though they say that it most likely was caused from the herbicides. This needs changed he has had several doctors state that his neuropathy is from agent orange but the act of 1991 is keeping him from getting the disability claim he deserves. My dad along with many others went to war at the age of 17, he fought for his country when he would have been planning prom and graduation  and now our country uses the Agent Orange act of 1991 as an excuse to deny ALL Vietnam Veterans not only the help they need but also they deny them the respect they have earned! I would like to change that 1 year to exposure symptoms in the Agent Orange Act of 1991
