We were talking the other day while playing ultimate frisbee about how fun it would be to have a disc golf course in vernal. So we came up with the idea of seeing if we could make it happen.

We are hoping to persuade the city to build a disc golf coarse at the vernal city park on 500 N. We hope to get at-least 9 holes in if not more going around the park and then crossing over and doing a couple holes at the walking park across the street. We feel this will add to the tourism of vernal and give people another activity to do while visiting or living in vernal. 

Right now besides a small 7 hole coarse in Roosevelt, the next closest one is almost 50 miles away in Rangely Colorado. We hope to bring more entertainmentto anyone in the basin.
