Everyone today with a smartphone depends one the internet. Its everywhere we go. If you are a Verizon customer with the unlimited data plan, you are definitely aware of how valuable it is.
Today it was released that Verizon Wireless plans on rolling out new shared data plans on June 28th 2012, a move designed to force people off of there unlimited data plans and onto a more pricey more restricted data plan (links to pricing at bottom).
The prices for these new shared data plans are absolutely insane. For a single gigabyte of data (which we all know we can burn through in no time) is 50 dollars a month and if you want to add a phone to share that data its another 40 dollars on top of that. Almost 100 dollars a month just to share a single gigabyte of data with another phone. That also means its 50 dollars alone for just one phone and 1 gigabyte of data.... Its beyond insane. Verizon Communications CFO Fran Shammo was quoted saying "Everyone will be on data share," and continued to say how beneficial it is for them as a company.
VERIZON WIRELESS HAS 100 MILLION CUSTOMERS!
Help me stand up to the masterful corporate greed that is Verizon Wireless and tell them to let us keep our unlimited data as we were promised. Don't force us to give up our upgrades just to try to save on the price of data. WE DON"T WANT YOUR FORCED SHARED DATA PLANS AND PRICING!
