They are now charging people a fee that is essentially a penalty for signing a new contract. Signing a new contract should be rewarded, not punished.
Drop the "upgrade fee"! People who are loyal to your company should be rewarded for signing or renewing their contract. By charging this fee, you are effectively PUNISHING your clients for being loyal customers by making them pay extra to sign a new contract. This is wrong.
