Over the past decade, LMCTV has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to upgrade its studio and field recording equipment, editing, live feeds, and playback capabilities to full high definition (HD) video.  Paying television subscribers of Optimum (Altice) and Verizon/fios in the Larchmont-Mamaroneck area only have access to an outdated standard definition signal on their television screens.  It is time that Optimum and Verizon/fios give the customers of Larchmont and Mamaroneck HD channels that can also show up on their channel program guide and be recorded on DVR.  The channel numbers should also coincide with the other HD channel numbers.  Currently, LMCTV broadcasts on Optimum channels 75, 76, and 77 and on Verizon/fios channels 36, 35, and 34.
