Douglas James started this petition to Verizon and

Densely populated Old Wedgewood neighborhood in Turnersville, NJ (Washington Township) has suffered Comcast/Xfinity's price gouging, poor customer service and monopoly over internet, TV, and phone service in our neighborhood for too long.

How many times has your Comcast bill increased in the last year? How about the last 5 years? Enjoy threatening to cancel every 6-12 months? I have personally spoken to neighbors paying upwards of $200/month after being loyal Comcast customers for 10-15 years or more! Those same loyal customers would only be paying just over $100/month under Verizon FIOS!

Verizon FIOS provides faster, better, more reliable service at more affordable prices, and is already installed in homes right next to our neighborhood on Hurfville Road!

I sincerely believe that bringing FIOS to our neighborhood will save all of us time, headaches and money, as well as establish the competition necessary to hold Comcast/Xfinity accountable for their poor treatment of us as consumers.

Verizon provides reasonable, FIXED pricing which will never increase year after year.

Internet - $39.99, TV - $50.00, Home Phone - $20.00

$109.99/month for all 3, forever!

Please join me in doing two things to improve our chances of success in this endeavor:

1) Sign this petition to be passed to Verizon and the Washington Township Board of Utilities

2) Sign up on the FIOS site as an interested party at your address.

-- Go to https://www.verizon.com/inhome/qualification and enter your street address

-- Click 'Check Availability'

-- On the next page, click the Fios link to sign up for the notification list

-- Enter your name, email, phone #, and check the boxes for TV/Internet

-- Click 'SUBMIT'

Thank you for your time and consideration.  I look forward to improving digital services for all of us together.
