The VBCPS School Board wants to vote on bringing back the 4x4 schedule that we had to endure during virtual learning where we had different classes in each of the two semesters. This made us struggle because students who had classes in the first semester came back this year and had forgotten everything they learned. This causes the teachers to have to review the old material more and take up time for what they should be learning in that class now. It also gives us less time to learn the new material making it a faster paced class and more work. If we stop this voting then we can keep the schedule that we have now and not have to revert back to the 4x4 schedule that effected all of us negatively. If we can’t stop the voting then us students need to be ready for a much heavier work load starting 2022-2023 school year! This petition is to get the attention of the school board and to get our opinions on this matter heard. And to let us have a say in what happens in our school environment!
