The Nanoose Bay Gnome, an iconic figure of the Island, needs a new home. The perfect place for the record-setting gnome would be influencing the daily lives of students of Vancouver Island University. This petition aims to save the Nanoose Bay Gnome by placing on the University campus.

The Nanoose Bay Gnome is the world's largest garden gnome and is pretty neat. The Gnome has called Nanoose Bay home for 21 years and is at risk of being destroyed. The Chevron Station has rudely not maintained this beautiful gnome and it is in desperate need of relocation.

The family responsible for creating the iconic gnome is looking for a place he can still bring happiness and where better than the university campus.

Please help save the Nanoose Bay Gnome and bring a great figure to the University. We would forever be known as the school with the cool gnome and saviours of the historic figure.
