People of this community have a right to their housing and health and the costs of not supporting their rights are too high for our society to pay.

The history and heritage of Vancouver citizens caring for each other is the most important legacy we have, and the core of our civic humanity. Ming Sun represents that legacy, and we must restore it.

I was in London, England two years ago, and that city has lost a vast amount of its (admittedly far older, but no less valuable) historical architecture to rushed development. Just because Vancouver's historic buildings are 100 years old and not 1,000 doesn't make them any less valuable culturally.

Vancouver shouldn't destroy its cultural heritage. Are the Mayor's friends profiting financially from this destruction of the Ming Sun Benevolent Society's property?

My family lived 2 blocks west from 1944-2002. Not everything should be torn down.
