The Vancouver Recovery Club is a Non-Profit Organization that has been running for 35 years and for the last 20 Years we have been receiving a grant to help keep the place going 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This year they have decided to pull the funding, which means that it may not be open all day/night. Addiction never sleeps, and the VRC is somewhere you can go to warm up, have a cup of coffee, and get in touch with addiction services in the lower mainland. This place is near and dear to so many people and personally has saved my life and many others. We will be going to the city on Tuesday to present this.
