Currently Sunrise Mountain High School students are not allowed to bring guests from outside of our school, they claim for Covid reasons. However, other schools in the Peoria Unified School District are allowing students to bring guests. In addition, homecoming will be outside and we've had sporting events with many more people than our homecoming allows. Additionally, all students have had their high school years disrupted by Covid, and for many of those trying to bring guests, this is their final year and final homecoming dance. Many people want to bring their significant others that they have been dating for years, and the fact that they cannot bring them for health reasons (even when they see them outside of school all the time), seems unreasonable. Please sign this petition and help all of us make our homecoming memorable and fair.
