Stop secondhand smoke deaths!

Our government spent over a trillion dollars over the past two decades to overthrow ruthless Middle Eastern dictators who used chemical weapons to kill their own people. And yet, here in the US—the best country in the world—our government sits back and allows its own citizens to be gassed and killed on a daily basis by another type of chemical weapon: secondhand smoke.
Secondhand smoke kills over 53,000 people in the US every year. That’s 145 people a day! Roughly the same number of people that fit on a Boeing 737 airplane.
We must do more…
We must commit to protecting the residents and tourists of Las Vegas from the dangers of secondhand smoke. Not just or the people who work in here, but also for the millions of people who visit Las Vegas every year. So many innocent people working the nightclubs and bars are being exposed unnecessarily to the toxins of cigarette. When there can be designated areas for smokers. Smoking is a choice, not everyone should suffer.
As Americans, we should be given the freedom to work and play in a clean safe environment, free from harmful chemicals. The solution is simple: Ban smoking in all commercial buildings in Las Vegas!
Please join the movement! Let’s protect each other and our families from the known dangers of secondhand smoke.
TOGETHER WE CAN SAVE LIVES… Take the first step today, and sign this petition.
