The Vale of Glamorgan council electoral dept,have recently carried out a review of Polling stations in the Vale.

As a result the have taken a decision to remove the Polling station sites in Brooklands Terrace.Instead the expectation is that people will have to vote at Wenvoe Community centre instead.

The Brooklands Terrace/ Parc Y Gwenfo area (if you include the HTV studio development) accounts for in excess of 40% of the electorial voters in Wenvoe.Which includes 100 plus homes on the over 55s Cambrian Residential Park.

With no public transport to community center available, the fact that it is a 15 minute walk,will make it  differcult for many in the area to vote

We need to ask the Vale Council to reverse this,nonsensical decision now

To be able to vote is a democratic right.Polling stations should be easily accessible to all.If this decision is not reversed,it will result in voters in this area,bring unfairly disadvantaged
