The University of the West Indies has updated it’s policy in light of the ongoing pandemic, that recordings of the online sessions will not be posted by lecturers. Since the start of the semester this has put many students at a disadvantage especially part time students  as classes are now being held earlier in the day and once you miss the class, you basically miss all the information. 
If the recordings were being posted for the previous semester why should it stop now ?

The various faculties of the university need to adapt to the reality of what’s happening in this world and stop making it difficult for students to learn. Some full time students are now part time students due to  the need for additional income to support their families. Not to mention International and regional student who are going through the same issues.
