We can all agree 2020 was a year in the record books. Whether you were in essential employee or not most of us struggled in someway. As college students we believe that our years are being torn away from us from leadership trying to instill fear into to society. By covering our faces and forcing us to hide in our homes it has led to a horrible decline in mental health. In 2019 5.2% reported struggling with mental health, that number rose to 40% in less then a year. 
Finally 2021 rolls around and there is light at the end of the tunnel. There are incentives for getting vaccinated and life slowly is returning to normal. Just to have it all ripped out from under our feet because someone in a white lab coat says so. 
After hearing that things will be going back to what they were in 2020 after being promised change, someone needs to hear our voice. Leadership needs to know how their actions are being portrayed. Sign this petition and hopefully someone with the power of change can see that we are done being manipulated.
