On June 17, 2016, the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion had issued an advertisement for the recruitment of 3,307 sub-inspectors.

Following the process, 2,486 candidates were selected and sent for one-year training in July 2019.

After Successful completion of Trainings UPSI Candidates are still waiting for their appointment/joining letters.

Most of the candidates are from farmer's family and facing a hand-to-mouth situation and are under debts.

Also most of them don’t have financial back up and are forced to fall in to depression.

Solution or Expectation from UP Government (Yogi Government):
- UP Government Should release appointment letters immediately and conduct POP
- This will help candidates to help their families who have no other source of income or farming is the only source of Income
- Students are forced to move in to depression because of this holding of appointments and they will get big relief.
