The problem is that the lunch time is too short. Many people get to class late. Many of us don’t get to go out somewhere to eat because then they will get to there class late. We want the lunch period to be longer. People have to drive and then there’s traffic in the roads. Mainly those would stay in school during lunch get to class on time. For many of us don’t. It is very hard, some of us get in trouble or detention for getting in class late because the lunch hour is too short. If this would happen, many wouldn’t have to worry about driving fast, or running outside when it’s 80°F. It’s a huge struggle for many people at Woods cross High. Some people can’t get lunch from school so they have to go out, but then they don’t have a car. If we were to have more time, we would be able to be relax not stubbing our food into our mouths just so we don’t get marked late or absent. Even just a few more minutes we would at least get to sit down on a table and leave not rushing. I want to make this change because I know there are a lot of people that struggle so much. I know many of us are to shy to speak, but that is why I’m doing this. It’s not just for me, it’s for everyone from the school. So if I could make this happen, what would make me happy is seeing those not with sweat, but relax and proud.
