Call on Governor Spencer J. Cox to sign bill Protecting Women’s Sports
House Bill 11 would require student athletes to participate in sports based on the biological sex listed on their birth certificate.
In order to protect female athletes and womens sports, we must pass this bill! It is not right or fair to biological girls & women to have to compete for positions on teams, for scholarships, and for other opportunities currently being denied to them because trans athletes are allowed to compete. We recognize that women and men are biologically different, and this necessitates the existence of separate organizations for them to be able to participate. Women and girls are losing their ability to stand out and to accomplish something. If we fail to pass this bill, womens sports as we know them, will cease to exist as trans athletes (being biological men) will continue dominate the competition effectively robbing opportunities young female athletes have worked so hard for. Governor Cox, we, your constituency, call on you as our governor, to not veto this bill, but to sign it, protecting our women and girls in their endeavors.
