Me and Many Other Students Think that’s Our School District should start one hour later . This would have students waking up later and Having more energy. Other School Districts in our County such as Laurel Highlands Start school 1 hour later and end 1 hour later. Many Students likewise myself , have agreed that they Are more productive when getting Extra Sleep to Rest their Bodies. I know what you’re thinking, “ Why don’t students just go to bed earlier “ well to answer your question, Many People Have Athletic Activities or Groups they Have practice or meeting for Later in the day. Now you’re thinking, “ Not our problem “ , well To Help our case We have reasoning to believe that students may preform Better and Achieve Higher scores on standardized testing which Determines the funding for the schools curriculum . This Money could Be used to improve our academic and Athletic budget and get better teaching equipment to better the futures of our students. Another reason for one extra hour of rest is to not only rest the students but to help them grow as studies and doctors show that  sleep can effect growth of children. More reasoning is that not only students but teachers could Benefit from this change. Not that our teachers aren’t doing their job but they could do even better by gaining more rest while some even have home lives and children to care for. This Proposal should be affective during times like this with a global pandemic where people online and in person are drained by modern day stress with news from Bf about the COVID-19 pandemic. In Conclusion, I am Proposing that Uniontown Area school district Push their Instructing times forwards approximately 1 hour.
