As a great many of you know, two professors at The University of Texas at Austin have been found guilty of sexual assault/harassment. Despite the severity of these claims, the provost office still refuses to prioritize student safety and fire these professors. Although President Fenves sent out an email acknowledging the issue, the lack of urgency in taking action is highly concerning and shows how much our university doesn't care for its students.

Although the provost office is already aware of the issue and a petition will only do so much, I still think it's worth creating. We pay so much to attend this university and deserve to have professors who will give us the quality of education we all earned without sacrificing our own morals and right to safety.
