(Limited) Free Printing for UT Students

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

Currently, UT Austin gives each student with a housing plan $200 Bevo Bucks for the 9 month year that can be used for printing, buying food at various vendors around campus, etc. Though $200 may seem like a lot, it can go by pretty quick.

PCL currently charges 10 cents single side B&W, 16 cents duplex B&W, and 50 cents for printing in color. Many courses at UT require assignments to be printed to hand in during class. Students living off campus would have to pay to print for each assignment

I propose that UT give all students $100 of printing for free. Any printing above that would need to be payed. This ensures that students will not abuse the privilege of free printing. The $100 would be used just for printing and would be available for all students living both on and off campus.
