Proper Personal Protective Equipments for USTH's nurses

Our frontliners need every support they can get!

The nurses of University of Santo Tomas Hospital  (USTH) are being denied proper Personal Protective Equipments or PPEs that they can use as they brave the storms caused by the CoViD-19.

According to some Facebook posts of our nurses, they are being forced to wear incorrect PPEs instead of the proper ones. One nurse is seen wearing a raincoat in order to supplement the lack of proper equipment. Without proper support and from their management, we are letting down our frontliners by allowing them to be exposed to unnecessary risks. This must be corrected decisively.

We call on the management of the UST Hospital to address this issue properly so that our frontliners remain healthy and risk-free and may continue to be of service to others who may be inflicted as well.

Your signature will signify support for our frontlines and urge the government and hospital administrators to address this grave concern.

It  would also be really helpful if we can donate PPEs and other helpful materials.
