The current American national anthem is extremely oppressive towards minorities of America. We are in crucial need of a change. This change comes in the form of Baby Shark.

Baby Shark is about the children. Children are the future of America and must be the center of this anthem, that seeks to represent us.

This new anthem will be able to be sung by all, and is inclusionary of all ages. This song has additionally been embraced by a variety of races, as many remixes have been made where people have embraced this song as their own. Our minorities will no longer be overlooked once we embrace Baby Shark.

The lyrics in this anthem reflect the great struggles of the origins of our nation much better than The Star Spangled Banner ever could. “Let’s go Hunt” and “Run Away” specifically represent our colonial hunt for freedom and escape from the British tyranny’s oppression. Baby Shark is truly the epitome of the American identity. Although it was produced on foreign soil, this further proves our nation’s commitment to diversity. This song encompasses the American Dream by representing a family that is on the hunt for freedom in a land of oppression and inequality.

This new anthem will unite us all as a country and represent everyone within our great nation’s borders. No more will there be an issue of standing for the anthem, when everyone will be dancing to the amazing song of Baby Shark.

This song isn’t limited by education. The current anthem uses big words like “perilous” and “rampart”. This inherently creates a hierarchy of educational privilege and inequality within our country. It spreads the message that only a small percentage of olden English speakers can be a part of this nation’s supposed united song. By replacing our anthem with a song that can be understood by all, not limited by education or opportunities, we will only further our inclusive atmosphere.

The song is environmentally conscious as it helps with awareness of the endangered shark and their precious young, and allows us to connect with ourselves as well as our fellow species.

Irregardless. National. Local. Global. Synergy.
