The organization TeamJesusPreachers are targeting students at University of South Florida multiple times a month. This group yells slurs, malicious names, and homophobic and racist phrases. Although this group has a right of speech, they cross a line by harassing students. They harass people who walk past, talk with them, or even look at them. As a student here at USF, I feel as if they should not be allowed at our campus and continue to harass students. 

Their behavior makes students like me extremely uncomfortable and feel unsettled. This needs to come to an end. Organizations such as this are fully allowed to spread their views and opinions, but harassing students continuously and streaming the verbal harassment online is disgusting. USF students, let’s put an end to this. 

USF should be a safe campus that provides a welcoming and comfortable environment for any student, faculty, and staff. USF should be an environment in which any race, sex, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and religion should not be discriminated and verbally targeted.
