With our current drug testing policy they are cutting students hair. Children already have enough going on without having to have their physical appearance changed. The kids have patches of hair missing and in some cases will take years for it to grow back. If we can work on getting the current hair cutting policy out before kids become victims again we can find a balance in a proper way that isn't altering their appearance. The random draw could mean kids get chosen multiple times and have patches if hair missing. Just so they can simply go to a game to support their classmates. There has to be another way.
