Improve Times of Spouses Immigrating to the US to be with their Spouse

For American citizens who have married foreign nationals living abroad the process to obtain a visa for their spouse is an expensive, time consuming, racist, sometimes sexist and frustratingly long process. This petition wants the United States Government to stop discriminatory immigration practices against immigrants who are married to American citizens, and/ legal permanent foreign born peoples.
The USCIS discriminates against foreign nationals seeking to immigrate to the United States by denying the foreign spouses of American citizen the same rights as foreign spouses already living in the US who still often have immigrant status as a student, etc.
Moreover, this process is also discriminatory in that purposely assumes foreign spouses of US Citizen are criminals or sex workers looking to enter the US illegally. Women from Asia looking to immigrate to the US are most often the victims of sexist and racist practices at the heart of the USCIS’s current policies.
Why should foreign spouses of American citizens be forced to separated from their spouse for at times over a year waiting for a slow and bureaucratic system to come to a conclusion that could have been done quickly and easily at an US Embassy abroad?
