I believe in using style to express yourself. Starbucks has updated its dress code in the past to allow baristas to express themselves via their clothing. However, US stores do not allow artificial nail coverings whatsoever, including those that are professionally done. My issue regarding that is that Canadian stores do. I believe the rule should be changed to allow baristas to have short nails that have been done by a professional and are not  gel polish or schlack. 
       I am hoping that in starting this petition Starbucks company will allow baristas and other employees more self expression. I cannot grow my natural nails because I am anemic and I believe that the short brittle nails that are caused by my condition look unprofessional and unpleasant.
