We the undersigned salute and stand with Senators Warren, Feinstein, Leahy, Merkley, Markey and Congressman Adam Smith, who have reintroduced the No First Use Act (NFU) to make it law that the US will join the other civilized nuclear nations in vowing to not be the first to use nuclear weapons in an armed conflict.

Passage of the Act will signal the United States' first step towards ending the threat of a nuclear war by declaring that, as Presidents Ronald Reagan and Mikail Gorbachev clearly stated, "Nuclear war cannot be won and must never happen."
