People think it's OK to call the police to report a violent crime when none has happened because they don't like something or someone on the internet. People have died because of this practice.

This should be a new charge that carries roughly the same sentence as attempted murder. And if anyone gets hurt or killed because of these actions that's a separate charge for each incident on top of the swatting charge.

This has to stop. Current laws aren't strict enough on this. People have lost their lives because of this!
