Keep funding for the Armed Forces Retirement Homes.

Long before my years joining the military, a .50 cent deduction was placed on military pay in support of the Armed Forces Retirement Homes (AFRH). That was 17 years ago for me, and it is still .50 cent a month. Recently, funding has been removed from the AFHR which will raise the cost of living and services provided under AFRH care by 55%. This will cause our brothers and sisters who have gone before us to endure an extreme change for care as some may not receive the same retirement or disabity rates. It was proposed raising the whopping .50 cent to a dollar. For those like me who have visited and seen the services provided can say or agree to a two dollar payment a month to the AFRH. While two dollars doesn't seem like a lot, it will offset the extreme price change drastically. If you would like to keep our brothers and sisters in the care they need, please sign and help this get the coverage they need.
