Matthew Nguyen started this petition to US GOVERMENT and

NASA was once the agency that could send a man to the moon, but in the late 70’s the Apollo program was cancelled as public interest dwindled and funding was dropped.  In 2011, NASA lost it’s capbilities to send humans to low earth orbit from American soil and has since relied on the Russians to send humans to the International Space station, a deal that requires NASA giving hundreds of millions of dollars to the Russian Space Agency.  Our abilities to return humans to space have been returned with the rise of SpaceX, however, they can’t send humans into space without some funding from NASA for ISS missions, funding which they already have little of.  So please sign this petition as space technologies already add $10 to the economy for every $1 spent due to new technologies springing up around it.
