Alfredo Jacobo started this petition to US General Services Administration

Government bureaucrats voted to waste $600,00 of sorely-needed money intended for our starving schools.

What for?  They want to destroy priceless ANTI-slavery and ANTI-genocide murals.

The money should go to feed hungry kids hot lunches, repair decrepit schools, decrease class sizes, pay for kids' school supplies, and so much more.

But why? They do not understand the murals are against slavery, and against genocide.

Can they?  Only if we let them.  The work was produced during the Depression by the Federal Work Progress Administration.  When the WPA ceased to exist in 1949, ownership was transferred to the modern General Services Administration.  Ergo, the bureaucrats have no legal right to destroy what belongs to all of us.

Liberals!  You understand that a mural which depicts the harsh, evil realities of slavery and genocide should never be whitewashed.

Conservatives!  This is PC lunacy gone completely off the deep end that threatens to erase history and our common heritage.

This scandalous waste of money, which benefits no one, and hurts schoolchildren must be prevented by the rightful owners of the murals - the General Services Administration.

Therefore we urge the GSA to intervene and prevent this useless and unlawful waste of school money.
