Ilia Malinin was unfairly left out of the Olympic team after placing 2nd at the 2022 US Nationals and demonstrating both raw ability and scores far beyond other members of the team. The USFSA Selection Committee should not be able to make objectivity incorrect decisions like this nor should they be able to send a skater who has been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 positive person to the Olympics.
