Concerned Citizen started this petition to US DOL, GA State Representatives, GA Governor Office, Secretary of Labor, President of US, Citizens

Unemployment in Georgia skyrocketed since the pandemic. Thousands of Georgians are still out a job. Misinformation has allegedly been given out and several thousands have no information given at all regarding their benefits.  Agencies of the government such as Senators and Representatives have been contacted. Their allege response has been Butler is elected we cannot really do anything or that they were told to direct claimants response back to DOL. However they are aware. Butler has admitted only 15% of calls are answered, career centers closed, over 65,000 appeals, There are glitches in system, months of nonpayment for thousands. Yet Butler states 99.4 of people who filed have received payments. Butler blames Congress for not enough funding. There have been articles, protest and Georgians who have lost homes, cars and savings all because of the pandemic. Thousands are still waiting on benefits May 3, 2021. Thousands from last year still have not received benefits. Thousands had to recertify due to benefit year ending. Benefits are for 52 weeks. Those press release you see is not indicative of the truth. Gov Kemp stated Georgia was flourishing and Butler stated 99.4 % of benefits paid. Both are falsehoods. Please sign this petition it is appalling. Too many people are hurting because GA Gov and Commissioner want to maintain a false image while people are experiencing lost, stress, depression, struggles and not able to get jobs they qualify for.

they are aware of issues receiving unemployment.
