Joe Biden - backed by both Elizabeth Warren and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen - proposed to enact Financial Supervision on US Citizens for all non-cash transactions. This includes Cryptocurrency, PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp, and all debit and credit transactions. It will give the IRS power to look at all bank statements, cash transfers, everything claiming that it will help the government close the wealth gap. The government could enact legislation to give corporations and billionaires a 30% tax of revenue to fix wealth inequality. This takes away civil liberties and privacy of American citizens who have already had all their emails, phone calls, texts, and everything else monitored by the government thanks to the Patriot Act that claimed it would stop terrorism. News flash: it did not. The IRS does not have the right to infringe on our private information when we file our taxes EVERY YEAR. Tax fraud has risen in the last decade due to wealth inequality. The American government simply aims to keep poor people poor. To continue to repress People of Color. To continue to feed into an outstanding yearly military budget while letting big pharma suck citizens dry, let the people of Flint continue to live without clean water. Enough is enough.
