As many of you have been receiving the $600 from federal stimulus package and been staying safe at home until the end of July, that is great news.  But have any of you ever thought of what it could do to small businesses and our economy years from now?

Imaging when states are reopening and people are refusing to come back to work because they would rather stay home and collect the unemployment plus the $600.  What would that do to our economy?  Think about 2008 when the unemployment rate was only 15%, our economy collapse and it took us years to bring it back up.  Small businesses employ a total of 47% of the workforce.  The federal government should have send people a lump sum amount, rather than weekly checks so that people can still receive assistance but also returning to work when businesses are opening back up.  Imaging if 50-70% of small businesses are gone by the end of the years?  The damage would takes 6-8 years to heal.  It takes many people years and their lifetime saving to start or build a business, please help keep them survive!
