All children are our future. They will run the world of tomorrow, have the next generation and what they go through and learn in their childhood highly impacts how they are going shape the world. Now a lot of people are going to scowl and say that it's not going to be these kids, the kids that are going to run everything are going to come from better families, all I can say is Wow, you NEVER no what someone's future is going to be. You could be treating the guy on corner who has nothing like crap, but one day your life could be literally in his hands. Look at Ben Carson, he wasn't in the system but his family was below the poverty level and he still made something out of himself. Don't look down at kids who have just started out in life and are having a rough start, none of this is their fault. They didn't ask for any of it, the blame falls on the shoulders of ones who play but won't pay the consequences. Children come into this world owning no one, it's their parents who owe them.

These children shouldn’t even have been taken from their parents about 70% of the time. To steal them away because a parent is too poor to afford their light bill under the guise of being in the child’s best interest and then placing them with something even worse and letting those people get away with sexual abuse and murder is unconscionable. The government is not capable of making determinations of what’s in a child’s best interest as this clearly illustrates. It’s been going on for years but because the victims come from poor families who cannot afford someone to defend their rights, they continue to get away with it. It’s just now starting to be known and each time something crops up the inevitable spin comes from CPS or the government or some third party organization to say “oh well the caseworkers are overworked.” To hell with that. They’re overworked because they’re so busy chasing parents who are innocent, trying to make them look guilty to get a payday, that they don’t have time to investigate real abuse situations. There needs to be more than requirements for caseworker contact, there needs to be consequences, they need to do jail time. But this is a good start.

This is unreal! The abandonment these children experience, & the abuse by adults shows how sick & perverse American society has become!
