Jane Doe started this petition to US Corrections

Currently and previously incarcerated people are not represented in our elections. The 14th amendment asserts that states have the right to restrict individuals voting rights due to any criminal conviction. Nearly every state revokes the voting rights of convicted individuals, aside from Maine and Vermont. This means that 6.1 million citizens have lost their right to vote due to incarceration. Felony disenfranchisement laws need to be amended. We ALL have a right to vote!
