Petitioning US Congress

Take "In God we trust" off of money and delete it as our national motto.

This is a country of people with faiths in all kinds of gods, including people who do not believe or simply don't know if they do yet. This was a counter to the threat of communism in the 1950's and simply not needed to remain a strong country. We survived close to 200 years without this as our motto and having it absent in our currency. In fact, this divides the country and makes us weaker and panders to a particular group of people while isolating others.

Letter to
US Congress
I just signed the following petition addressed to: US Congress.

Take "In God we trust" off of money and delete it as our national motto

This is a country of people with faiths in all kinds of gods, including people who do not believe or simply don't know if they do yet. This was a counter to the threat of communism in the 1950's and simply not needed to remain a strong country. We survived close to 200 years without this as our motto and having it absent in our currency. In fact, this divides the country and makes us weaker and panders to a particular group of people while isolates others.
