Please create a law to protect American People from intentional identity theft causing by US corporations collecting and posting people's addresses, phone numbers, date of birth, and driver licenses on their websites without having any authorization from those people.
American people are deserved to have a right to protect and control their privacy from online companies such as but not limited to 4privacy.org, zattadata.com, peekyou.com, peoplefinder.com, peoplefinders.com, peoplelookup.com, publicrecords.com, USSearch.com, spoke.com, zabasearch.com, USIdentity.com, us-people-search.com, and etc.
American people should have a right to remove the information from those type of sites for free and not being asked to create an account or provide a copy of their driver license. Some companies even asking people to pay money to remove their own personal information from the website. Only American Government, FBI, and CIA have the right to collect and hold sensitive, personal, and private information of American people.
By letting those companies to do so the congress is welcoming the identity theft. It is a double standard when government protect banks and secure their transactions among countries and at the same time support corporations which are exposing ordinary people’s addresses, phone numbers, and date of birth to identity theft. In most cases the information posted by those companies is wrong and has a negative impact on people's life and business.
It is unacceptable when it happens in the country, which dictates the whole world, what the democracy is all about and how privacy and human rights are important in the modern society.
Let’s Stop the Harassment!!!
