I'm not the person that thought of this, however the person that told me this has no idea how to get the ball rolling to make this work on a national level. So I am asking on his behalf for all of us to consider this, since Congress will refuse to do so on our behalf.

A constitutional amendment requiring ALL US House of Representatives & Senators be considered state employees of the state that has elected and sent them to Washington DC. The people will have term limits imposed on them and afforded all benefits as offered by the state they come from for public service government employees.

Furthermore, these same people will not be granted exemption from any laws they create & pass as elected officials.

Under no circumstances will these persons be allowed to continue to give themselves pay raises, exempt themselves from laws they pass, be given retirement programs that differ from the state employees, free ride on college education for themselves and their families beyond that which their state offers, healthcare benefits that differ from what what the state employees of the state they represent are offered, nor any other perk or benefit granted to a state employee.
