Please sign the petition from normal, law abiding citizens of the USA, to send a message to the US Department of Justice and US Attorney General, Merrick Garland, to immediately indict the leaders of the seditious conspiracy and insurrection.

It is past time for criminal indictments of the leaders of the January 6th seditious conspiracy (18 U.S.C. 2384) and insurrection (18 U.S.C. 2383) at the US capitol. 

• 18 U.S.C. 2384-If two or more persons ...conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess ... they shall each be fined or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.
• 18 U.S.C. 2383-Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

It has been clear from the video of January 6th and other statements and documents that Trump, Meadows, Guiliani, Bannon and others should be indicted under the above US criminal codes.
