Build 4-6 tier parking garage in major lots for commuter students (e.g: Fine Arts Center)

The major problem students agree upon is the lack of parking. URI Parking services is a complete mess and simply don't care about the students and their dire needs. In The Good Five Cent Cigar 's September 2017 newspaper issue, they mentioned about the problem with Parking Services and the Students with mentioning that 250 commuter spots within the Dairy Lot will be taken away and be given to residents in the upcoming year. Students pay a lot out of pocket each semester to be able to attend college, get their education, and achieve their degree to start their life. Many students are commuter students who come from all over the state including those who must commute out of state. there would be more pleasure and less arguing between the students and the parking services if URI went ahead and built 4-6 parking garages in major areas such as the Fine Arts Center, Flagg Road Lot, Plains lot Road, and perhaps even the Ryan Center's parking lot. Many universities and colleges have parking garages for their commuter students, however, URI does not and the war between the students and the Parking Services continues to rage on and become harder each year.
Please sign this petition if you agree that parking at URI for students is an enormous issue that needs to be addressed and you would like URI to build multiple garages for their students.
