Thousands and more of young Muslim women in France and India are prohibited from wearing headscarves (hijabs) if they want to attend schools!! Muslim French lawyers are not allowed to wear hijab in courtrooms which means basically they can not practice their profession!!! These are women who cover their hair by choice in compliance with the teachings of their faith as they interpret it and they should have every right to do so since this is 2022 and not the 1700s!!! The US recently imposed sanctions on Iran because a young woman was allegedly killed by the Iranian morality police for wearing her hijab loosely!!! I am encouraged by the US decision to stand up against such ugly crimes but I am demanding similar actions when the scenario is the opposite: the women want to wear a head cover and they are not allowed to have access to education or work because of how they choose to dress!!!!

Please support my petition to treat all cases which pertain to violating women's rights equally.
